To advance the career development of young investigators in chemical biology, the ICBS has established a special session at the Annual Meeting to showcase up-and-coming chemical biology scientists.
The selected recipients will give a podium presentation during the special “Rising Stars” session, and will be further recognized for their achievements with a certificate and a monetary award.
Candidates must be in the early stages of an independent career in chemical biology, typically within seven years of first formal appointment, and must submit an abstract and be a registered participant at the ECBS & ICBS Joint Meeting 2015.
Nomination or self-nomination documents should be received by September 1, 2015. Please indicate your wish to apply during the registration process or send an email to the conference office.
The requested documents indicated unter 2, 3 und 4 above should be sent via email to the conference office. Please use "Application for ICBS Award 2015" in your email header.
Candidates for the award will be considered by the award selection committee and will be approved by the ICBS President and Session Chairs. After careful deliberations, selection of the award winner(s) will be made on the basis of their accomplishments, ground-breaking contributions to chemical biology, and promise as a future leader to serve the chemical biology community.
Three awards of $500 USD each will be made.
